TL;DR — The short version
- ✓ We collect your info to run your booking and (if you opt in) send you reminders.
- ✓ We use Stripe for payments and Supabase for hosting — that's it.
- ✓ You can delete your account and all your data at any time from your dashboard.
- ✗ We do not sell your data. Not to anyone. Not ever.
What we will NEVER do
Sell your personal data to any third party — advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
Share your information with insurance companies. Your vehicle data stays with us.
Share your home or work address with any third party for any commercial purpose.
Build an advertising profile of you or sell you to a marketing network.
Send your payment information anywhere — your card details go directly to Stripe and we never see them.
Share your data with any government body unless legally compelled by a valid Canadian court order.
Sell or transfer your data if OtoPro is ever acquired — any successor must honor this policy or offer you deletion first.
What we collect and why
Account information
Your name, email address, and optionally phone number. Used to create your account, send booking confirmations, and let you log back in.
Vehicle details
Year, make, model, colour, and body style. Used solely to price and perform your service correctly.
Service address
The address where you want your car detailed. Used to dispatch our technician to you.
Payment information
We do not store your card number, CVV, or expiry date — ever. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a certified PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processor.
Promotional emails & reminders
Transactional — booking confirmations, receipts, rescheduling notices. Always sent.
Promotional — maintenance reminders, seasonal deals. Opt-in only. You can change your preference at any time from account settings.
We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Third parties we actually use
Stripe — Payment processing
Processes your deposit and balance payments.
Resend — Email service provider
Handles email notifications and authentication.
Supabase — Database & authentication
Hosts your account data securely.
No analytics trackers, no ad pixels, no social media SDKs.
Your rights (PIPEDA)
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Request a correction to inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent for non-essential data use at any time
- Delete your account and all associated data — instantly from your account settings, or by emailing us

How long we keep your data
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently erase your profile, vehicles, addresses, and booking history within 30 days.
